POSTS AND TELEGRAPHS
There is a postal division of the Indian Posts and Telegraphs Department at Akola. Akola district is included in West Berar Postal Division. The head post office is situated at Akola and sub-offices at tahsil headquarters and towns. The bigger villages have branch post offices. The West Berar Postal Division includes two districts viz., Akola and Buldhana.
