SAVANGA
Savanga is a small village in Candur tahsil with 541 inhabitants
and 133 houses according to the 1961 Census. A fair in honour
of Vithoba commences on Caitra Suddha Pralipada and lasts for
three days. It is attended by about 2,000 persons. The village
has a primary school and a cavdi.
