ADMINISTRATIVE DIVISIONS
Since the pre-Independence days, Bhandara district consisted of three Tahsils and three Sub-Divisional Offices. The district now covers an area of 9214.0 sq. km. and has, according to 1971 Census, a population of 15,85,580. The administrative divisions now stand as below: —
