KARDI
Kardi, with in 1971 a population of 3,970 is a village in Bhandara tahsil about 14 miles north-east of Bhandara and 12 miles south-west of Tirora. A large proportion of the residents are cotton-weavers. Glass bangles are also made here. Kardi has a high school, a post office and a medical dispensary. Drinking water is obtained from wells and a tank.
