BRIDGES
Bridges are a sine qua non for a good
system of transport and communications. As a number of rivers and
rivulets criss-cross the district, construction of bridges is
imperative. The authorities responsible for maintenance of roads
have constructed some bridges at important river crossings. The
location and structural details of all the major bridges and
causeways in the district are given in the following tables:—
