PANOLI.
Panoli is a small village about two miles (3.21 km.) north-east
of Deotak in Brahmapuri tahsil, containing ruins of a small temple of laterite, similar to the one at Deotek. There are also several slabs precisely similar to the inscribed slab at Deotek, and like it they are grooved with a channel, but they are broken across and not inscribed. Several statues of Visnu, Laksmi and Nandi, and some lingas lie scattered about. The ruins lie on a small mound, about 15 feet (4.57 metres) high and about 30 feet (9.14 metres) in diameter. There are no inscriptions on them, nor are there any traditions bearing upon them.
