PANZURNI.
Panzurni, a village 9.65 km. (six miles) north-west of Waroda in Waroda tahsil, has a peculiarly shaped temple supposed to have been built on the site of a sati. In the centre of the building is seen a tomb with a figure representing a woman kneeling on the funeral pyre before its being lighted. The population in 1961 was 759 as against 876 in 1951, the decline being attributed to migration to Waroda. There is a primary school and a branch post office.
