POUNDING AND PARCHING OF GRAINS AND PULSES
In Jalgaon there were nine establishments, seven in Ward No. IX and one each in Ward Nos. VI and X engaged in the pounding and
parching of grams and pulses. T hey employed 30 persons or whom
16 were paid employees and the rest were owners and their families.
