Savada, m. 8; p. 1,112), about two miles north-east of Nhavi and eight miles north of Savada railway station (Bombay-Itarsi line) has a ruined well, 27 feet long, 15 feet broad and 17 feet deep: It is said to have been built under the Gavli Raj. About 140 years ago a Nimbalkar is said to have carved off some of its stones to repair his fort at Yawal. Since then it has been out of repair and has dried up. It is now in a dilapidated condition.
