KHIRODA.
Khiroda pra. Yaval (21° 15' N, 76° 00' E; R. S. Savada, m. 8.), a
village 4 miles west of Savada having a population of 3,057. In 1949 a Sarvodaya Kendra was allotted to Raver taluka with Khiroda as its headquarters. At present this small village has the following institutions: —
(1) Primary Teachers' Training College.
(2) Saranjam Karyalaya.
(3) Gram Udyog.
(4) Basic Education
(5) Ashram School.
(6) Balvadi.
Beautiful buildings have been constructed and parks laid. A training centre has been opened. An approach road of four miles has been constructed to connect Khiroda with Shirpur-Raver road. A water-supply scheme has been provided for the village.
