ASARE
Asare (Sudhagad peta, RS Khopoli 16 m; p. 553) is eight miles
north of Pall, the headquarters of the peta. It is one and a half
miles off the Pali-Khopoli road. The Mahadev temple is about
300 years old and the belief that lunatics are cured if brought to this temple is widespread. The village has a glass bangle factory.
