CHANDEPATTI
Candepatti (Pen taluka) is very near to Ratangad Fort. The place is known after Cadji Jedhe, who is supposed to have established the village. It is a hilly place known for its salubrious climate. It was often inhabited by Jedhes in Sivaji's time. Recently deposits of bauxite have been discovered.
