CHANNAT
Cannat (Manganv T. RS. Mumbra 86 m.; p. 224): This village was
held in inam by the Mapkars. Near this village in a valley named Jor Khorem, a hotly contested battle was fought between Sivaji and Hanmantrav More in which the latter was completely defeated and killed. Numerous. ' Sati' stones and ' Virgals ' are to be found in the ' Jor Khorem '
