GAURKAMAT
Gaurkamat (T. Karjat; 18° 55' N, 73° 20' E; p. 693; RS. Karjat, 5 m.) four miles east of Karjat, has a small hill fort with several rock-cut water cisterns. The masonry of the fort is in the pre-Musalman or Hemadpanti style. [ Mr. W. F. Sinclair, C. S.]
