Parali (Sudhagad P., 19° 40', 73° 15' E; RS. Khopoli 13 m:
p. 588) was held by Cavak family in inam. It is said that in the vicinity of the village, eminent persons like Annaji Datto, Hiroji Farjand, Balaji Avji and Somaji were trampled to death under elephant's, feet by Sambhaji. The weekly bazar is held on Saturdays and a large business in fish is transacted.
