Tudil (Mahad T.; 18°00' N, 73°20' E; RS. Mumbra, 91; p. 164)
is in proximity to Dasganv. It is said that a Muslim named
Faqi saved Kanhoji Angre's life, when the enemy was in hot
pursuit, by making him sleep on the bedstead of His parturient
daughter. In acknowledgment of this act of kindness the Faqi
family was given a 'Sanad' by Kanhoji Angre.
