VARANDOLI
Varandoli (T. Mahad 18° 10' N, 73°20' E, RS. Mumbra, 105; p 446). At the foot of the fort of Rayagad is situated the village Varandoli. Most of the statesmen stationed at Rayagad had their families in this village in times of Sivaji. The old road to Rayagad passes through it. Desmukhs belonging to the Prabhu family are well-known here.
