RADIO AND WATCH REPAIRING

With the rising standard of living during the last two decades the demand for radio sets and watches has considerably gone up and consequently the number of shops dealing in the repair and sale of radio sets and watches has increased. Most of the shops are located in towns and Sholapur city. As the tools and equipment required for such shops are costly, a large initial investment ranging from Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 5,000 is essential. These shops generally employ skilled workers. In many cases owners are found to be experts in the technical jobs involved in the business. Skilled workers are paid between Rs. 150 and Rs. 250 a month. The net earnings of the shop vary between Rs. 300 and Rs. 700 per month.
