A small village situated about ten miles to the south of Madha, the taluka head-quarters, has a population of 2,544 according to the Census of 1971. The village is of no consequence except a few old half-buried
temples which appear to be built in Hemadpanti style. The temples are not frequented. The village has only one primary school. Wells form the main source of water-supply in the village.
