VAPHALE
Situated in 17°50' north latitude and 75°30' east longitude, Vaphale is a small village in Mohol taluka with a population of 2,392 souls as per the Census of 1971. It has only a primary school. Wells form the main source of water-supply. The old Sholapur District Gazetteer, 1884, mentions " Vaphla, about six miles south of Madha, has a large slab (7 X 3') with a Devnagari inscription ".
