VEHICLES
The total number of motor vehicles in operation in Yeotmal
district increased from 760 in 1960-61 to 1,043 in 1965-66. Out
of the total number of motor vehicles in operation in the district during 1965-66, 35 per cent were motor cycles. Bicycles are the largest number of private vehicles, their number in the Yeotmal city being 5,783 in 1968-69. The following statement gives the number of vehicles plying in Yeotmal district;—
