INTRODUCTION
THE FUNCTIONS OF THE GOVERNMENT ARE MANIFOLD and those
relating to maintenance of law and order, and security to life and
property of citizens are carried out through Police, Judicial, Social Welfare and Jail departments. In what follows is detailed the functioning and set-up of these departments in the district.
