LINGTI.

Lingti is a small village of 608 inhabitants in Kelapur tahsil where an earthen dam is being thrown across the Khuni river to utilise its waters for irrigating agricultural land. The total length of the dam would be 5,490 feet and its storage capacity 1,830 million cu. ft. of water. It is estimated to cost Rs. 115 lakhs and would have two major irrigating canals of a total length of 20 miles. While the right canal would feed 4,230 acres of land, the left 4,720 acres.
