PAHUR.
Pahur, with in 1961 a population of 2,804, is a large village in
Yavatmal tahsil situated 27.36 km (about 17 miles) north of Yavatmal. It is a weekly bazar place, the bazar being held on every Tuesday. Pahur has a middle school and a post office. Potable water is obtained from wells.
